Early warning that our Winter Irrigation Water Deliveries begins October 15th.  We get roughly 20 percent of the summertime allocation.  Our problem is that the irrigation water you use after October 15th comes effectively from Oak Lake only.  That’s why the water levels drop so quickly at Oak Lake.  There ultimately comes a point that we are not able to draw water from Oak Lake when the water level drops below the intake pipe.  So, if you’re inclined over-water before the 15th and adjust your usage after the 15th.  We are all hoping that the cooler weather forecasted to begin this weekend continues for the balance of the year, allowing us to drastically reduce our Irrigation usage.
