IMPORTANT

Hidden Valley Residents, with the reduced PCWA supplied irrigation water that took place October 10th combined with canal maintenance interrupting deliveries every other day, the amount of water being delivered to Oak Lake has been greatly diminished. The result has dropped the lake level to the point that the pump supply line will very quickly get to the point that the pump will begin to pull in air, something that cannot be allowed.

This will be the first time HV will be shutting down the irrigation due to a lack of irrigation water. The lack of rain has caused many homeowners to continue watering and it is apparent when you look at Oak Lake. Irrigation will resume when it is possible to do so. You can still help as was mentioned in the October newsletter. Shutting off your irrigation timer and watering only as needed when irrigation water pumping resumes will be critical until the area receives rain.
